Rush Orders: Rush orders are available with prior approval. Additional charges may apply if expedited shipping is necessary. You will be notified of the approximate shipping cost added to your order. We will make every effort to accomodate your needs.

Artwork/Proofs/Engraving:  The integrity of a company’s logo can be maintained if our Design Department receives the original logo in a usable file format of high quality. All orders for engraving or etching should be accompanied by sharp, black and white artwork in either a pdf file or vector format. Please do not send artwork with gray halftones. Please contact our graphics department if you require logo revisions or redrawing of logo artwork as additional charges will apply. Custom deep cut and black enamel fill engraved logos on some items will have additional charges. Any 4-color high quality image may be used for Digital Print surfaces. Exact color matches cannot be guaranteed. Bleed is required for full flood prints. Artwork charges will apply for 2D or 3D subsurface engraving.  Etching and personalization initial proof is included with your order as long as proper artwork is supplied. Excessive changes in proofs may incur additional charges. 

Custom Orders/Changes: All orders and changes must be confirmed in writing.  Lachman & Company will not accept responsibility for errors on verbal orders/changes. Once a custom order has been approved it cannot be cancelled. Liability shifts to customer who agrees not to hold Lachman & Company responsible for changes requested after final approval. Lachman & Company makes its best effort at all times to provide correct artwork and to etch or engrave artwork per approved proof.

PMS Color Match:  Please check with our design department regarding available standard colors for etching and engraving colorfill. Additional charges may apply for custom color match. 

Cancellation:  Once a custom or personalized order has been accepted, approved and production has begun, it cannot be cancelled. Customer will be liable for all work performed.

Shipping and Handling: FOB Southfield, MI. How Do We Ship? FedEx Ground and FedEx Express is our preferred method.

Truck Shipments:  If your shipment is in excess of 400 pounds or is unusually large, we contract with reputable freight lines.

International Shipping:  We prefer FedEx for international single piece shipments with a customer supplied FedEx paperwork and international forms to make the customs process easier. For larger shipments, we utilize an experienced freight forwarder.

Drop/Split Shipments:  For orders shipped to more than one location additional handling charges may apply.

Returns: Custom and personalized orders are made to your specific requirements and cannot be returned. Blank items may be returned within 30 days with Lachman approval only. A return authorization number will be issued and all boxes must be marked with return authorization number in original boxes with original packing. You will be credited full price less a 15% restocking fee and cost of return shipping.

Damage Claims:  Damage claims must be made no later than 48 hours after receipt of order.  All damaged merchandise must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt. All original packing, boxes and merchandise must be kept for inspection.

Trademark Notice: Lachman & Company assumes no responsibility for determining who does or does not hold title to a trademark. The artwork, designs and trademarks imprinted on the products displayed herein are reproduced only as examples of the type of quality of imprinted products available. They are not intended to represent that the products are either endorsed by owners of the artwork, designs or trademark.

Hours of Operation:  Monday – Thursday  8:30am to 4:30pm EST   Friday  8:30am to 4:00pm EST. For visitors to our showroom, we encourage you to come in one hour before closing.

Proposition 65:  California has a unique legal standard known as Proposition 65 which requires persons/entities to warn California consumers if use of their products would result in exposure to lead at a level greater than 0.5 micrograms per day. Under this standard only the lead tabletop crystal products require the California Proposition 65 warning that consuming foods or beverages that have been kept or served in leaded crystal products or handling products made of leaded crystal will expose to you lead – a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Etching / Engraving Size Limit: We will do our best to fit your requested copy into the item you have ordered. However, we will notify you if it is necessary to reduce the amount of text for etching or engraving. Most customers eliminate the registration R (®) marks and trademarks (™) within the message as they are often illegible.
