Knowing that satisfaction is relative to expectations, we have compiled the following descriptions intended to help you understand what you can realistically expect in glassware when you receive your order. Several items in the website fall into one of these categories:

Optic Crystal: 
Machine made. No imperfections in the glass itself. Dimensions may vary slightly. All planes are highly polished. Pure and colorless. Excellent clarity and sparkle. Exceptionally heavy.

Beveled Optic Crystal:
Machine made. No imperfections in the glass itself. Dimensions may vary slightly. Bevels may vary and be uneven and are not considered defective. All planes are highly polished. Pure and colorless. Excellent clarity and sparkle.

Starphire Crystal: 
Machine made. No imperfections in the glass itself. All planes are highly polished. Glass has a slight aqua tint but is not nearly as green as jade crystal. Very good clarity and sparkle. Substantial weight.

Jade Crystal: 
Machine made. No imperfections in the glass itself. All planes are highly polished. Glass has a deep jade tint. The thicker the piece the more pronounced the jade color. Good clarity. Thicker pieces in this category have substantial weight.

Bent Jade Crystal: 
Machine made. Small bubbles and other imperfections are rare and not considered defects. Dimensions may vary slightly. Glass has a deep jade tint. The thicker the piece the more pronounced the jade color. Good clarity. Bevels provide some sparkle. Thicker pieces in this category have substantial weight.

Bent Glass: 
Machine made. Small bubbles and other imperfections may occur. Dimensions are consistent. The thicker the piece, the more pronounced the jade color.

24% Full-lead Crystal: Machine made. 
Expect minor bubbles and swirls that are inherent to full-lead crystal. Full-lead crystal ranges from colorless to a subtle blue tint. Excellent sparkle. Larger pieces in this category are exceptionally heavy due to lead content.

24% Full-lead Crystal: Mouth-blown and formed by hand. 
Expect minor bubbles and swirls that are inherent to full-lead crystal. Full-lead crystal ranges from colorless to a subtle blue tint. Dimensions and weight will vary from piece to piece. Excellent sparkle. Holloware will ring when pinged. Larger pieces in this category are exceptionally heavy due to lead content. Variations will occur on styles with hand cut patterns due to its hand-crafted nature.

24% Full-lead Crystal: Machine-blown. 
Small bubbles and other imperfections are rare and not considered defects. Dimensions are consistent. Glass walls are thin. Full-lead crystal ranges from colorless to a subtle blue tint. Excellent sparkle.

Art Glass: Mouth-blown and formed by hand. 
Expect minor bubbles and swirls that are inherent to mouth-blown and fully hand-crafted glass. Dimensions and weight will vary from piece to piece. Designs and patterns within the glass may vary significantly. Colors are brilliant. Weight is substantial.

Mouth-blown Glass: 
Expect minor bubbles and swirls inherent to mouth-blown glass. Dimensions and weight will vary from piece to piece. Glass may have a very subtle aqua tint. Very good clarity and sparkle. Substantial weight. Variations will occur on styles with hand-cut patterns due to its hand-crafted nature.

Tempered Glass Mugs: 
Machine made. Small bubbles and other imperfections may occur and not considered defects. Dimensions are consistent. Clear mugs may have a slight aqua tint. All tempered mugs will have a seam opposite the handle. Substantial weight. Durable. Safe for hot drinks and the dishwasher.

Black Glass: 
Machine made. No imperfections in the glass itself. Dimensions may vary slightly. Color is jet black and very opaque.

Ceramic Mugs: 
Expect minor blisters or other imperfections inherent to ceramic products. Dimensions are consistent. Actual colors may vary from catalog photos.
