The Importance of Employee Recognition
Did you know that a lot of things motivate us, but in terms of the workplace there is one thing that outshines all the rest?
...and it is employee recognition!
It’s human nature. From an early age, we crave recognition from our teachers, parents, family, friends, and people in our community. Since we so deeply internalize our crave for recognition, we often take neutral (or lack of negative commentary) as being or not doing good enough.
In fact, employee recognition not only fulfills our own desire for recognition, but it also drives productivity, engagement, and talent within the workforce. Employee recognition is essential to effective management.

That’s why at Lachman & Company, we strive to provide top-notch crystal and glass awards, as well as various plaques, in order to uplift employee recognition no matter how big, small, or unique your company might be.
We encourage employers to create an awards or recognition program that encourages employees to have a healthy level of competition and drive in their own work to better progress the company, as well as their own individual talents.
This could be quarterly, bi-annually, or annually.
